| Prominent in forward positions till turn faded out appallingly in a disgraceful reappearanceIncidents: Trainer Mr. S.S. Attaollahi was questioned regarding the poor performance of his charge KANGRA. The trainer stated that he had asked Jockey A. Sandesh not to pressurize the horse, as it was running from 2400 Metres to 1400 Metres and he observed that the Jockey pressurized the horse to keep up with the pace thereby, the horse packed up in the end. The Jockey corroborated the statement of the trainer. Their explanations were noted for future reference. KANGRA (A. Sandesh) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. |
