The trainer stated as follows; a) He had instructed his rider to take a good jump and sit well up with the pace and to ride out in the Straight; b) The rider has ridden this horse accordingly, but his charge was not going anywhere at all; c) According to him the winner was a very good type of youngster, which won very well and that his charge was no match to it; While corroborating the statements of the Trainer, Jockey K Sai Kiran stated that despite his best efforts to ride out his mount in the straight, his mount did not get up at all and was running there and there only. Their explanations were noted for future reference. Surprise sample was taken for analysis from ch g EWANDOR. |

| | Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of AQUILA D`ORO, placed Second by the Judge, lodged an objection against Jockey C Umesh, the rider of SHIVALIK BULLET, placed First by the Judge, for “In the last 100 Metres, the winner bumped me, I received a check, which cost me a certain Race”; The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the Race and examined the Jockeys Arshad Alam and C Umesh. The Stewards replayed the above Race and pointed out to Jockey Arshad Alam that the interference caused to him by C Umesh, the rider SHIVALIK BULLET, actually happened at the 300 Metres and not as claimed by him. After viewing the CCTV replay of the Race, Jockey Arshad Alam admitted that after his ride, he was confused and that he mistakenly mentioned that he was interfered at 100 Metres; After due deliberations and after repeatedly viewing the CCTV replay of the Race, the Stewards decided to overrule the objection. |
