The instructions were to be in 3rd position and to ride hands and heels and not to use the whip as the mare had come out of laminitis. During the enquiry it was established that the mare was fully fit to race and Jockey S Amjad Khan could not give satisfactory explanation for his feeble riding effort while negotiating the bend and in the straight. as such, he has been fined Rs.4,000/ for Incompetent Riding on his mount. |
