	Explanation of Jockey B R Kumar (SPECIAL AND THONG) in the presence of Trainer Ananta Vatsalya that his mount held the bit in the straight and was lugging in inspite of his best efforts as such he was unable to ride out his mount to complete advantage, noted. Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that the filly was trotting lame on right fore due to fetlock joint sprain.

	GOLDEN AMARIS (Rafiq Sheikh) dropped back from about the 800 mtrs and finished the course distance behind. Trainer M.F. Ali Khan was advised for a better performance in future.

	STARWALT (Khurshad Alam) trailed the field throughout the race. Trainer L.V.R. Deshmukh was advised for a better performance in future.
Astronaut
	Jockey Praveen Gaddam (ASTRONAUT) was fined Rs.5000/ for riding contrary to the given instructions in that he checked his mount and dropped back in the initial stages of the race for no apparent reason thereby failing to position his mount well up with the field in the initial stages of the race.

	Explanation of Trainer R H Sequeira with regard to the improved performance of his charge N R I TOUCH (App. Abhay Singh) that his charge always comes from behind and this et being a weaker, his charge could manage to win. The Trainer further added that his charge has not shown any improved performance as compared to the common runners in the previous races and the gelding has run to the potential was noted for future reference.

BALLERINA (Suraj Narredu) was observed to have sustained cut injury over left hind front of pastern. However the filly was trotting sound after the race.

	MAPLEWOOD (C S Jodha) fell over after the race at around 2000 meters after passing the winning post and collapsed and died probably due to cardiac arrest.

	An objection lodged by Jockey Mukesh Kumar (BANDIT KING) placed 2nd by the judge against the Jockey B R Kumar (N R I INFINITY) placed 1st by the Judge that ` he bumped me once at about the 100 mtrs and later he took my ground in the final 25 mtrs that cost me a certain race` was overruled by the Stewards and the Judges placings remained unaltered. The Stewards of the Club however fined Jockey B R Kumar (N R I INFINITY) a sum of Rs10,000/ for shifting in at about the 150 mtrs and bumping BANDIT KING (Mukesh Kumar) and again shifting in in the final 100 mtrs in the process taking the ground of latter.
