The Stewards having viewed the race on the CCTV monitor in conjunction with the Stipendiary Stewards and acting on their own observations of the race decided not to alter the placing as declared by the Judge, however, they termed the incident as careless riding on the part of Jockey C. Umesh. |

| Tr. M. Narredu informed that his charge HOOVES OF THUNDER was under medication and had requested to withdraw the gelding from the race. As such, he was permitted to withdraw his charge and is fined Rs.15,000/ for his lapse. Further, in accordance with Calendar Notification the sample has been collected for analysis. |

| At the start, KIMIKO (C. S. Jodha, dr.1) jumped outwards and brushed the haunches of CHENEVIX TRENCH (Neeraj Rawal, dr.2) who had to be steadied. From the 350 metres, EL GRECO (C. Umesh) (placed first by the Judge) shifted out under urgings thereby tightening the field on his outside due to which CHENEVIX TRENCH (Neeraj Rawal) racing on its haunches was tightened for room and thereby lost its footing and fell along with the rider. In view of the accident, the Stipendiary Stewards initiated a Stewards enquiry. Saqlain (THE PROTECTOR dr.3) and Neeraj Rawal (SKY FALL dr.2) reported to the Stipendiary Stewards that there was a reasonable delay between the flag being lowered and the gates having opened due to which their respective mounts had rushed the front gates as a result their mounts were unbalanced thus impacting their start. |
