The bit was changed before the horse left the paddock. At the start, ASHWA MALALA (Abdul Fazal) lost about three lengths. Trainer A Khan has been asked to give sufficient gate practice before accepting next to race. Jockey Abdul Fazal (ASHWA MALALA) reported that at about 450 meters the mare stumbled and he lost his left iron stirrup which he could regain passing few strides. |

Jockey confirmed the instruction. After watching replay of early part of the race Jockey Ranjeet Singh was reprimanded for restraining the horse in such a manner which looked improper and doing so, he had hurt the mouth of the horse. |
