 LIBAN drifted out when placed under pressure from about the 300 metres. Tr. Dr. Anil Kumar was advised to take appropriate remedial measures.

 The Veterinary Officer reported that ELEOS returned bleeding from its nostrils. Tr. Patrick Quinn was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
Gleam Bell
 For failing to produce the declared colours in respect of his charge ch f GLEAM BELL Tr. Jasbir Singh was fined a sum of Rs. 1,000/. Further, the Trainer was charged a sum of Rs. 500/ for using emergency colours “ALL BLACK” on his charge GLEAM BELL.
Tamar
 MISTY GREY was fractious in its stall and was very sluggish to come out of the gates as the start was effected. In view of its behaviour Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was advised not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Starter in a barrier trial during the hours of morning track work. TAMAR which threw its head around and was slow into stride, was observed to finish on.
Historic
 HISTORIC reared up and fly jumped out awkwardly losing over a distance. The Starting Stall Certificate has been revoked.
Misty Grey
 MISTY GREY was fractious in its stall and was very sluggish to come out of the gates as the start was effected. In view of its behaviour Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was advised not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Starter in a barrier trial during the hours of morning track work. TAMAR which threw its head around and was slow into stride, was observed to finish on.
Dubai King
 An enquiry was held immediately after the running of the race with particular reference to the fall of Jockey Sujit Kr Paswan (DUBAI KING) soon after the start. At the conclusion of the enquiry the Stewards decided to let the Judge’s placings remain unchanged. Jockey Sujit Kr Paswan has been kept under observation. An enquiry has been opened into the running and riding of DUBAI KING, trained by Mr. Shafiq Khan and ridden by Jockey Sujit Kr. Paswan.

2 (91) THE GRAND MADAME HANDICAP

 Jockey S Zervaan, the rider of SEA EAGLE, when questioned regarding the poor performance of his mount, stated that while the filly had every opportunity in the race, she failed to quicken when asked for the final effort. Tr. Neil Darashah when questioned, opined that possibly the filly needed a break because of the hard campaign she has had so far this season, was noted.
Team Player
 Jockey R Manish (TEAM PLAYER) reported that his mount grabbed the bit and tried to run out passing the 1400 metres, was noted. Tr. B Rajender Reddy was advised to take remedial measures.
Life Is Good
 LIFE IS GOOD was difficult to load.
Pyrgos
 PYRGOS was reluctant to raise a gallop in the first furlong of the race.

 VENENO (Mohit Singh, drawn 6) was squeezed out as the start was effected when MAGNITE (V R Jagadeesh, drawn 7) shifted in. VENENO was eased up by its rider passing the 200 metres. On the morning of 2nd February, 2024 b f VENENO was examined by the Veterinary Officer and found to be lame on left fore. Tr. B Rajender Reddy was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
Magnite
 VENENO (Mohit Singh, drawn 6) was squeezed out as the start was effected when MAGNITE (V R Jagadeesh, drawn 7) shifted in.
Remy Red
 REMY RED was slow to begin.

 NATURAL GRACE and NOMITSI drifted out when placed under pressure in the final straight.
Aurum
 AURUM and NOMITSI missed the jump. SEA SALT CARAMEL (S Saqlain, drawn 5) jumped inwards inconveniencing AURUM (Vinay Jaiswal, drawn 4) and NOMITSI (Imran Chisty, drawn 3).
Nomitsi
 NOMITSI arrived late to the start thereby delaying the proceedings of the race. As this was the first run of the youngster, no action was initiated other than advising Tr. Aashay Doctor to ensure that his charges arrive on time in future. AURUM and NOMITSI missed the jump. SEA SALT CARAMEL (S Saqlain, drawn 5) jumped inwards inconveniencing AURUM (Vinay Jaiswal, drawn 4) and NOMITSI (Imran Chisty, drawn 3). NATURAL GRACE and NOMITSI drifted out when placed under pressure in the final straight. The Veterinary Officer reported that NOMITSI returned lame on left hind. Tr.  SEA SALT CARAMEL (S Saqlain, drawn 5) jumped inwards inconveniencing AURUM (Vinay Jaiswal, drawn 4) and NOMITSI (Imran Chisty, drawn 3).
Artemis Zelda
 For accepting with his charge ARTEMIS ZELDA while under medication, Tr. Neil Darashah was fined a sum of Rs. 5,000/ (2nd instance). Subsequently the filly was permitted to be withdrawn.

 Jockeys S Saqlain (SUMMER NIGHT, drawn 5) and J H Arul (GOLDEN OAKS, drawn 4) were reprimanded for allowing their mounts to shift in immediately after the start inconveniencing SNOWFALL (Suraj Narredu, drawn 2) and ETOSHA (Neeraj Rawal, drawn 1) travelling behind.
Summer Night
 Jockeys S Saqlain (SUMMER NIGHT, drawn 5) and J H Arul (GOLDEN OAKS, drawn 4) were reprimanded for allowing their mounts to shift in immediately after the start inconveniencing SNOWFALL (Suraj Narredu, drawn 2) and ETOSHA (Neeraj Rawal, drawn 1) travelling behind. a) SUMMER NIGHT returned lame on right fore. Tr. Bharath Singh was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
Golden Oaks
 Jockeys S Saqlain (SUMMER NIGHT, drawn 5) and J H Arul (GOLDEN OAKS, drawn 4) were reprimanded for allowing their mounts to shift in immediately after the start inconveniencing SNOWFALL (Suraj Narredu, drawn 2) and ETOSHA (Neeraj Rawal, drawn 1) travelling behind. Tr. Patrick Quinn was fined a sum of Rs. 10,000/ for inconsistent instructions between runs in respect of his charge GOLDEN OAKS in that before the running of Race No. 76 on 20th January, 2024 “the trainer had informed the Stipendiary Steward that he had instructed Jockey Sujit Kr Paswan to ride his charge GOLDEN OAKS off the pace as the horse had not given a good account of itself when ridden from the front in its previous start”. However, the horse was observed to be leading the field till about the 300 metres and finished 3rd in today’s race. The Trainer was further warned to be more consistent with his riding instructions. b) GOLDEN OAKS returned without its fore shoe.
Etosha
 Jockeys S Saqlain (SUMMER NIGHT, drawn 5) and J H Arul (GOLDEN OAKS, drawn 4) were reprimanded for allowing their mounts to shift in immediately after the start inconveniencing SNOWFALL (Suraj Narredu, drawn 2) and ETOSHA (Neeraj Rawal, drawn 1) travelling behind.

 Tr. Dr. Anil Kumar was reprimanded for the late arrival of his charge SMASH SHOT thereby delaying the proceedings of the race. The trainer was further advised to ensure that his charges arrive on time in future. 3. Blood sample . Blood sample was taken from the following horse for clinical analysis : SMASH SHOT 6th Race.

 WHISTLE BLOWER and ARETHA were slow to begin.

Perfect Gentleman
 Tr. Sabeel Shariff and Jockey Arman Khan when questioned regarding the running and riding of PERFECT GENTLEMAN particularly during last 400 metres of the race, Tr. Sabeel Shariff stated that he had instructed the Jockey to place the colt in 5th/6th position and to do his best. He further added that possibly the rider could have been a litte more vigorous in the concluding stages of the race. Jockey Arman Khan stated that he was instructed to place his mount wherever possible and to do his best. The Stipendiary Steward not being satisfied with the explanations decided to :
Almas
 ALMAS (Vinay Jaiswal) swerved around after jump out dislodging the rider. The Starting Stall Certificate has been revoked by the Starter.
Kikata
 The girth strap of the saddle used on KIKATA broke at the starting gates, as such the gelding was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders. Subsequent examination revealed that the equipment was in serviceable condition, as such no action was initiated other than noting the incident.
