Explanation of Trainer Laxman Singh with regard to the improved performance of his charge AUSTRALIA (Yash Narredu) winner of this race, who finished unplaced in the previous races that his charge in the previous races ran in longer distance with Apprentice Jockey in the saddle as compared to the present race which being 1200 mtrs and a better Jockey in the saddle and also 200 mtrs less to travel was added to his charges advantage and just managed to win the race. The Trainer added that his charge had run a better race in race No. 14 which is shorter trip as such he had opted to run in this race. The Trainer further added that he had not fancied his charge based on the previous runs and was available at longer odds was not accepted and the Trainer was fined Rs.5,000/ for reversal of the form of his charge in a short span of time.
