| 3rd till turn, improved and tackled Holy Smoke outpaced by the winner in the endIncidents: On a random check before the race, it was found that Jockey S. John (CONGRESSIONAL) was entering the paddock with a Body Protector of unapproved standard which he was asked to change immediately. Thereafter, on enquiring with the Clerk of the Scales it was revealed that Jockey S. John had weighed out with the approved Body Protector but had subsequently changed the same. Since Jockey S. John was unavailable to be interviewed by the Stewards, consideration of the matter has been differed to a latter date. In the final stages of the race, CONGRESSIONAL (S. John) shifted out under pressure and carried CRITICS CHOICE (Neeraj Rawal) outwards who was also inclined to shift outwards. |
