Pesi Shroff saddles 1000 winners in quick time
Pesi Shroff saddles 1000 winners in quick time The proceedings on Sunday were dull but it was lifted by the unique statistical feat of trainer Pesi Shroff who saddled his 1000th winner through Khartoum in the opening race of the day. Pesi thus got the unique distinction in being the only one in Indian racing history to have booted home more than 1000 winners and saddling 1000 winners. An incredible feat of 11 individual trainers’ championships at Mumbai and three at Pune embellish his record.
