| | An objection was lodged by Jockey S. Saqlain rider of RASPUTIN placed 2nd by the Judge against App. Mustakim Alam rider of GOLDEN NEIL placed first by the Judge reason being, approaching the 250 metres, he was comfortably on the rails and got a nice opening wherein GOLDEN NEIL came in from three wide, kept tapping from the left at a point he was in front of him due to which he had to stop riding and check his mount which cost him a certain race. However, they found App. Mustakim Alam guilty for careless riding on his mount GOLDEN NEIL. Wherein, approaching the 250 metres, he shifted in on his mount GOLDEN NEIL under the use of the whip thereby tightening and inconveniencing RASPUTIN (S. Saqlain) racing along the rails causing the latter to check and change course. Therefore it was decided to suspend his Jockeys licence for 4 race days i.e. on 31st March, 6th & 7th April 2024 and the first day of Pune Meeting 2024, date of which will be intimated in due course (permitted to ride work/mock race). After the race, GOLDEN NEIL was trotted and found to be sound. |
