The Hazara Stud Farm which has made a big splash on Indian racing mostly through the produce out of the pregnant mares imported from Goffs and Keeneland has bought Corporate Jungle to stand as a stallion. This year, the Hazara Stud Farm produce made a clean sweep of all the big races in India with Be Safe (Holy Roman Emperor) winning the Gr 1 Indian Derby on Sunday, February 1. Be Safe and Quasar (Seeking the Dia) who were both products of the farm dominated the classic scene in India.
Corporate Jungle had fractured sesamoid of the right fetlock and was vanned off from the race two years ago in July at Wickerr Stakes at Del Mar. There were doubts whether the horse would survive the injury but has recovered well. The seven year old son of Giant`s Causeway who had won the 2012 Gr 3 Appleton Stakes has arrived at the Hazara Stud Farm well in time for the breeding season which is due to commence shortly. A $210,000 Keeneland September yearling sale purchase, Corporate Jungle has won four of 13 starts with earnings of $293,667, all on turf. Corporate Jungle is by Giant`s Causeway out of Lady Carson (Carson City).

Bred by Blandford Stud and Harty and O`Rourke in Kentucky, Corporate Jungle is out of the stakes-winning Carson City mare Lady Carson. Corporate Jungle`s third dam was the multiple stakes-winning Cohoes mare Miss Swapsco.
Rebuttal (Mr Greeley) and Dancing Forever (Rahy) were the successful stallions who stood at the Hazara Stud Farm in the past. Rebuttal had sired Super Storm who went on to win the Gr 1 Indian Derby two years ago. Dancing Forever had just a few crops before succumbing to colic. Dancing Forever sired Shivalik Storm who won the Gr 1 Poonawalla Breeders` Multi-Million where he beat Be Safe who suffered the only defeat of his illustrious career. Be Safe has won several graded races including Gr 1 Kingfisher Derby, Bangalore and Gr 1 Indian Derby, the latter in a sensational manner.
Last year two new stallions were procured by the stud farm namely Net Whizz who incidentally is a full brother to the highly successful Rebuttal who chartered the success story of the stud farm. The other stallion doing duty is Saamid (Street Cry) who was a winner of Gr 2 Neptune Investment Champagne Stakes, Doncaster.
The stud farm is owned by racing enthusiast Nirmal Singh whose innovative method of importing pregnant mares every year has helped the stud farm claim the ranks in swift time. The Hazara Stud Far was also crowned the champion stud farm in India by the Turf Authorities of India at its last year`s Indian Turf Invitation Cup weekend awards ceremony.
