| 2nd till approaching 800, then lsot as the rider seemingly was in distress fronm the 1400ms marker and he fell nearing 200.Incidents: The saddle on NITROUS was observed to have shifted forward placing its Rider at a disadvantage as he could not do justice to his mount and the Jockey was unbalanced due to which he lost his stirrup iron and near 200 meters was dislodged. The Trainer argued that he had not unsaddled his charge and had waited for the Stipendiary Stewards to examine the saddle. And that the saddle had come back to its original place when seen in the Paddock, therefore he was not liable for any action against him. Since the Jockey was observed to have not ridden the horse due to the saddle slip the matter has been reported to the Stewards. The Stewards interviewed the Trainer and viewed the video recording of the race wherein it could clearly be seen that the saddle had slipped forward and having heard the submissions made by him decided to fine him a sum of Rs.5000/ for faulty saddling of his charge. |
