Long Shots Run the Show, Punters Run for Cover
Sunday’s Mumbai card was a lesson in betting humility. Logic took the day off while long shots had their moment. Favourites flattered, form went missing and ignored horses stole the show. Punters were reminded, yet again, that racing does not answer to the market or respect reputations. For a sport short on confidence, the results delivered plenty of irony and very little certainty.
